Cryptomage Description
Cryptomage is a cybersecurity company that develops a network detection and response (NDR) solution called Cryptomage Cyber Eye™. The product is a network probe that performs deep, low-level analysis of network traffic, protocol states, and device behavior within a network. The core functionality of Cryptomage Cyber Eye™ centers on packet-level inspection of network traffic, leveraging proprietary machine learning and AI algorithms to detect threats proactively. The platform goes beyond traditional NetFlow analysis by using custom methods to create and examine flow metadata, enabling behavioral analysis of protocols and anomaly detection. It operates in passive mode, analyzing a copy of network traffic without introducing latency. The solution is organized into several modules: threat detection (per-packet inspection, protocol validation, and ML-based risk assessment), event management (risk scoring, SIEM integration, and configurable event triggers), network monitoring (behavioral protocol analysis and anomaly detection), forensics (extraction and storage of high-risk traffic for incident analysis), and a GDPR compliance module (scanning packets for personal data such as ID numbers, PESEL numbers, and bank account numbers). Detected threat types include covert network communication, botnet command-and-control activity, malware, zero-day attacks, and DDoS attacks. The company claims its probe can detect approximately 250 types of cyberattacks. Target verticals include financial services, critical infrastructure, public administration, law enforcement and military, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and Industry 4.0, and telecommunications. The company is based in Poland, as evidenced by the Polish-language website content.
