NetAlly CyberScope is a rugged, handheld security scanning device designed for on-site network edge assessment and validation. The device provides mobility for security professionals to perform assessments directly from the network edge, with all-day battery life on WiFi. The tool integrates network and endpoint discovery capabilities, enabling users to identify devices, detect vulnerabilities, locate rogue devices, and assess lateral movement risks. It includes Nmap-enabled scanning functionality for comprehensive device vulnerability detection. CyberScope features AutoTest functionality that provides single-button pass/fail grading for repeatable assessments. The device tests and demonstrates policy compliance and validates device hardening configurations. Its user interface is designed to enable assessments by users without deep network experience. Scan results are automatically uploaded to the Link-Live collaboration and reporting platform, which generates topology maps for network architecture visibility. The device supports secure remote access through Link-Live, allowing experts to control the analyzer remotely from different locations. This remote capability includes bi-lateral operation for training purposes, where experts can operate the device while training staff or monitor their work. The device is purpose-built with custom hardware and applications specifically for security assessment tasks, distinguishing it from general-purpose mobile devices or laptops.
