Infrastructure Penetration Testing is a service offered by Mgm Security Partners that assesses network and system landscapes for real-world attack vectors, ranging from publicly reachable services to internal network segments and identity services. The service simulates realistic attacker behavior rather than relying solely on vulnerability scans, aiming to identify and verify weaknesses while removing false positives. It covers heterogeneous IT environments including on-premises infrastructure, data centers, hybrid cloud setups, VPNs, Active Directory/domain environments, and container/Kubernetes platforms. Testing scope includes: - External (internet-facing) testing of web servers, mail, VPN gateways, and APIs - Internal testing of network segments, servers, workstations, WLAN, printers, and IoT/OT components - Identity and directory testing covering Active Directory/LDAP/SSO security, password and permission concepts, and Kerberos/NTLM analysis - Perimeter and network device analysis including firewalls, load balancers, VPN configurations, and IDS/IPS bypass scenarios - Wireless and remote access testing (WLAN, captive portals, RDP/SSH exposure) - Cloud/hybrid configuration checks (security groups, IAM policies) - Credentials-based and post-exploitation analysis, including privilege escalation and lateral movement simulation - Brute-force and password hash analysis using GPU clusters The methodology follows PTES and BSI standards, executed by certified testers (e.g. OSCP).
