TruGrid Description
TruGrid is a remote access security company offering two primary products: SecureRDP and BitLocker Management. SecureRDP is a cloud-brokered remote desktop solution that enables secure access to Windows desktops and applications without requiring VPNs, exposed firewall ports, or gateway appliances. It routes connections through a fiber optic mesh network to reduce internet latency and uses a Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) architecture, meaning no direct inbound connections are made to customer infrastructure. The product includes integrated multi-factor authentication (MFA) with push notifications, end-to-end encryption, Active Directory integration, brute force prevention, single sign-on, user activity reporting, and support for app streaming (publishing individual applications rather than full desktops). It supports Windows and macOS connector apps as well as mobile clients for iOS and Android. TruGrid SecureRDP is positioned as a replacement for legacy remote desktop solutions such as Citrix and traditional RDP-over-VPN setups. TruGrid BitLocker Management provides centralized management of Microsoft BitLocker drive encryption across Windows endpoints. It supports devices with and without TPM chips, enforces encryption policies on both domain-joined and roaming devices, centrally stores BitLocker recovery keys, and generates compliance reporting. It is designed as a simpler and lower-cost alternative to Microsoft Intune and MBAM for organizations needing endpoint encryption management. TruGrid's target market includes businesses of various sizes, managed service providers (MSPs), and organizations in sectors such as energy, utilities, manufacturing, and retail. Pricing is offered on a per-user or per-computer basis with monthly and annual options, and a separate partner pricing tier exists for service providers.
