Remediant Description

Remediant was a cybersecurity company specializing in privileged access security. The company developed solutions focused on the discovery and management of privileged accounts across enterprise environments, with a particular emphasis on identifying and securing standing privileged access — a common attack vector in which accounts retain elevated permissions persistently rather than only when needed. Remediant's core product, SecureONE, provided just-in-time (JIT) privileged access management (PAM), enabling organizations to remove persistent administrative access and grant elevated privileges only when required for a specific task, thereby reducing the attack surface associated with standing privileges. The platform focused on agentless deployment and rapid discovery of privileged accounts across an organization's infrastructure. Remediant was acquired by Netwrix, an IT security software company. Following the acquisition, Remediant's technology was integrated into the Netwrix portfolio under the product name "Netwrix Privilege Secure for Discovery." Netwrix continues to offer this capability to customers and partners through its existing support and reseller channels.
