Alectura Labs is a cybersecurity company developing a platform focused on AI Detection and Response (AIDR) for organizations that deploy AI tools across their workforce. The platform is designed to address security gaps that emerge when employees use AI applications such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Cursor, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. The platform is built around four core capability layers: - Visibility: Discovery of AI tools in use across an organization, including shadow AI applications not formally approved, along with a prompt timeline and MCP server inventory. - Detection: Real-time identification of security events within AI applications, including exposure of secrets and personally identifiable information (PII), prompt injection attacks, and policy violations. - Response: Tools for security responders to investigate incidents through a timeline view and isolate affected devices with a single action, with integration into SIEM systems via alerts. - Governance: A centralized policy engine that enforces rules across all large language models (LLMs), agents, and integrations. Enforcement is performed on-device using an inline sensor with sub-30ms overhead, without routing traffic through a cloud proxy. The platform is delivered via a lightweight endpoint sensor that deploys through mobile device management (MDM) systems. It requires no gateway or network re-architecture. Logged decisions are exportable to support compliance with frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001. Alectura Labs targets security teams at organizations managing an AI-enabled workforce. The product is in a pre-release stage, with access available through a waitlist.
