opConfig is a network configuration and compliance management tool that captures, tracks, and pushes configuration changes for network-connected devices and cloud applications. It discovers network devices using protocols such as SNMP, SSH, and Telnet, automatically adding them to an inventory. Configuration data is collected periodically on a manual or scheduled basis. When configuration changes are detected, opConfig logs them and can trigger alerts to notify administrators. The tool maintains a complete history of configuration changes and audit results, enabling comparison between configuration states over time. It supports multi-vendor environments, allowing configuration data collection and backup from any hardware or software. Compliance checks are performed by comparing device configurations against predefined policies. opConfig includes pre-built industry-standard rule sets as well as support for customizable policies, targeting regulatory frameworks such as APRA, PCI-DSS, and SOX. Bulk configuration updates and maintenance tasks can be executed across multiple devices via scripts, with scheduling support for automation.
