Enginsight IT Monitoring Software is a component of the Enginsight all-in-one cybersecurity platform, designed to provide continuous visibility into the availability and performance of IT infrastructure. It supports monitoring of servers, clients, switches, printers, databases, and telephone systems across Windows, Linux, and macOS environments. The software operates both with and without an agent. When the Pulsar agent is installed, it collects metrics on CPU, RAM, SWAP, disk, and network utilization in real time, and also supports custom metrics for databases, backups, and sensor data. Agentless monitoring is available via Ping, Port checks, and SNMP, with support for a large library of pre-loaded Management Information Bases (MIBs) and the ability to upload custom MIBs. A machine learning module analyzes metric data to establish normal operational baselines and detect anomalies, categorizing deviations as low, medium, or high severity. This removes the need to manually configure fixed alert thresholds and reduces false positives. Software and port monitoring tracks software installations, uninstallations, running services, processes, and port activity on monitored hosts. System log monitoring covers login attempts, user creation, privilege assignments, and access to sensitive files and directories. Alerts can be configured to notify responsible personnel via email, SMS, or third-party services. All collected data is aggregated and displayed within the Enginsight platform. The solution is available as both SaaS and on-premises deployments and is developed in Germany.
