Blueshift XDR Managed Vulnerability Detection is a component of the Blueshift XDR suite that provides both agentless and agent-based vulnerability scanning across an organization's network infrastructure. Agentless scanning covers all network-connected devices, while agent-based detection targets endpoints and servers regardless of location — on-premises, remote/home environments, or cloud deployments. The platform runs approximately 58,000 network vulnerability tests per device on a monthly basis. Scan results and remediation guidance are made available through a local console for customer review. Results are also forwarded to Blueshift's Security Operations Center (SOC) for further investigation. The SOC monitors for specific vulnerability event types including: - Remote Code Authentication Vulnerabilities - Privilege Escalation Vulnerabilities - Default Credential Vulnerabilities The service is fully managed, meaning Blueshift's SOC team handles monitoring and investigation on behalf of the customer rather than requiring in-house security staff to manage the scanning infrastructure.
