MDE-AuditCheck Description
MDE-AuditCheck is a script designed to verify and validate audit configuration settings required by Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE). The tool examines Group Policy Object (GPO) configurations to ensure that all necessary audit settings are properly configured for MDE functionality. It performs automated checks against the audit policies that Microsoft Defender for Endpoint depends on for proper operation and monitoring. The script requires Remote Server Administration Tools (RSAT) to be installed on the system where it runs. This dependency allows the tool to access and analyze Group Policy settings across the domain environment.
