Policies can be scoped to cover: - Internal and external users and groups - Chat (direct messages), Teams channels, and meetings - Specific communication types: instant messaging, file sharing, audio calls, video calls, and screen sharing The product operates similarly to a firewall, scanning policies in sequence (top to bottom) and applying them in near real-time. Policy conditions can reference Active Directory or Azure AD groups, individual users, or domains. Deployment options include SaaS (no installation required) or on-premise/cloud installation (Azure, AWS, or customer DMZ). The platform includes auditing and reporting capabilities that log policy violation attempts and generate reports by user, policy, or domain. Administrators can receive notifications when incidents occur, and end-users can be notified of policy rules.
