SecureNinja's Risk Management Framework for DoD & Intelligence Communities In-Depth is a 4-day training course that provides instruction on the system authorization process and Risk Management Framework (RMF) for National Security Systems (NSS). The course is certified by the Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) and meets National Security Directive 42 (NSD-42) requirements. The training covers 11 modules including critical definitions and policies, C&A transformation, Intelligence Community requirements, roles and responsibilities, accreditation boundaries, system categorization, security control selection, implementation and assessment, system authorization, monitoring, and reciprocity. Students participate in scenario-based hands-on exercises that include developing Systems Security Plans (SSPs), Security Assessment Reports (SARs), and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) for National Security Systems. The course addresses Federal and Intelligence Community requirements including NIST SP 800-37, NIST SP 800-39, CNSS 1199, and CNSS 1253. Training materials can be tailored to specific military branch requirements including U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps, as well as DISA and COCOM/Joint requirements. The courseware is evaluated and certified by the NSA and CNSS, and instructors possess real-world experience in information assurance and cyber security. The course is delivered onsite for groups of 5 or more and includes printed training materials and reference CDs.
