Infortech Corporation's Cyber Security Assessment & Penetration Test is a consulting service offered to small and mid-sized businesses, primarily in the Bay Area of California. The assessment is conducted in collaboration with a third-party security advisory firm to ensure impartiality. The process begins with a discovery call and the signing of a Mutual NDA. A dedicated cybersecurity consultant is assigned to the engagement, who uses non-invasive discovery tools to collect metadata from computers on the client's network without requiring administrator permissions or interrupting business operations. A report is generated with findings and a mitigation action plan, followed by a review call with stakeholders. The assessment covers the following areas: - Security patches and vulnerability management - Network perimeter defense (firewalls, intrusion prevention/detection) - Identity and access management (passwords, MFA, credential policies) - Data leak identification and sensitive data protection - Malware defense evaluation - Overall cybersecurity posture and decision-making information The service is offered at no cost (up to four audits) for non-customer small to mid-sized businesses within Infortech's service area, with a standard fee of $1,200. Existing ExpertCare and CoManaged Service customers receive periodic assessments as part of their service. All findings are kept confidential under the mutual NDA.
