The Green Hills Platform for Secure Networking is an embedded networking platform combining the INTEGRITY real-time operating system (RTOS), the GHNet TCP/IP networking stack, and INTEGRITY Multivisor secure virtualization technology. It is designed for telecom OEMs, network device manufacturers, and developers building security-critical embedded systems. INTEGRITY RTOS uses hardware memory protection to isolate application execution into secure partitions, enforcing separation, damage limitation, and information flow control. It supports the Multiple Independent Levels of Security (MILS) architecture, preventing processes from writing beyond assigned memory regions and blocking unintended cross-partition data access. It provides protection against denial-of-service attacks, worms, and Trojan horses without sacrificing real-time performance. GHNet is a dual-mode IPv4/IPv6 TCP/IP stack designed specifically for embedded, network-centric systems. It features a modular, scalable architecture where unused modules are removed entirely to reduce footprint. It supports host-only or advanced routing configurations, virtual routing and forwarding, multiple simultaneous stack instances in separate partitions, and a zero-copy API for optimized packet throughput. GHNet has broad RFC support, BSD 4.4 and NetLink socket API compatibility, and has passed IPv6 READY Program certification. INTEGRITY Multivisor provides a hybrid virtualization architecture that enables trusted real-time software and untrusted guest operating systems to run side-by-side on a single CPU. It uses separation kernel technology with guaranteed resource allocations to securely execute multiple virtual processors and guest OSes, supporting high channel density on embedded hardware.
