GajShield GS1490nu V2 is a next-generation firewall appliance designed for enterprise environments. The device provides data security capabilities with context-based controls for data transactions and data exploitation prevention. It is ICSA Labs certified and supports high availability configurations in both Active-Active and Active-Passive modes. The appliance features 8 ports of 1Gbps copper Ethernet interfaces with support for up to 96 million concurrent sessions and 625,000 new sessions per second. It delivers 155 Gbps firewall throughput, 75 Gbps NGFW throughput, 81.2 Gbps antivirus throughput, and 82.5 Gbps IPS throughput. The device supports up to 100,000 VPN tunnels with 42 Gbps VPN throughput. Hardware specifications include dual multicore physical processor architecture, redundant hot-swappable power supply and fans, and 7 expandable slots for additional port modules. Port expansion options include Ethernet, Fiber, 10GbE Fiber SFP+, and 40GbE Fiber QSFP+ modules. The firewall includes application filtering, BYOD policy enforcement, network behavior analysis, policy-based ISP load balancing, and bandwidth management. It provides on-appliance reporting and can be managed through GajShield's Centralized Firewall Management System. Configurable WAN/DMZ/LAN ports allow flexible network deployment.
