Ephemeral Endpoint Architecture Description

Scylos Ephemeral Endpoint Architecture (EEA) provides stateless execution environments for remote and elastic workforces as an alternative to traditional VDI and persistent virtual desktops. The architecture delivers session-bounded execution environments that authenticate at runtime, execute authorized workflows, and terminate without leaving data, credentials, or residue on endpoints. The system operates by decoupling the operating system from the remote trust model. Workloads execute locally on endpoint hardware rather than being streamed from cloud infrastructure. Connectivity is used for authorization and policy enforcement rather than continuous pixel streaming. When work sessions end, all execution artifacts are destroyed and endpoints return to a clean baseline state. The architecture targets organizations with seasonal, temporary, or distributed workforces including insurance enrollment, claims processing, benefits administration, tax preparation, customer support, and regulated back-office operations. It addresses scenarios where workers scale up and down based on demand cycles without requiring year-round infrastructure costs. The system supports x86 and ARM-based endpoints including small-form-factor devices. Workers authenticate at runtime with access granted or revoked centrally without requiring local accounts, profiles, or cleanup processes. Execution continues locally even with intermittent connectivity since streaming is not required for operation.
