Sophic Access is a secure remote access solution designed for Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Operational Technology (OT) environments. It provides controlled access for both internal employees and third-party vendors to sensitive OT/ICS infrastructure. Key architectural features include a Multi Air Gap (MAG) cloud security model, available in multi-tenant or private hosted cloud deployment configurations. Each external supplier is issued a uniquely configured, hardened Secure Access Kit that undergoes deep validation before each remote session is established. Access control is enforced through a "7 gates" onboarding and clearing process, where failure at any gate results in access denial. Session length and scope are fully controllable by administrators. All session activities and recordings are stored in a tamper-proof vault that prevents unauthorized modification or deletion. The platform provides central security monitoring and analytics, giving operators visibility into all support activities to detect anomalies and identify security incidents. Advanced forensics capabilities allow operators to reproduce, investigate, and troubleshoot security or operational incidents. Sophic Access is designed to support compliance with regulations and integrates with existing systems to maintain operational workflows. The solution was created in collaboration with the Israel Electric Corporation and developed by engineers from Israeli Defense Forces cybersecurity units.
