Critical Start MOBILESOC is a mobile application available on iOS and Android that extends Security Operations Center (SOC) capabilities to security personnel outside of traditional desktop environments. The app provides full alert triage and threat containment functionality, allowing users to scan, quarantine, and block affected hosts, perform antivirus scans, and disable compromised user accounts directly from a mobile device. Users have access to the same alert data as Critical Start SOC analysts, including a complete timeline of all actions taken on an alert. The app supports direct communication with Critical Start SOC analysts for remote collaboration, incident escalation, and delegated response actions. Security tools are accessible through Threat Analytics Plugins (TAPS), enabling functionality beyond basic alert notifications. The app also provides risk visibility through performance, effectiveness, and efficiency dashboards, as well as a Cyber Risk Dashboard with actionable insights. Additional capabilities include monitoring of Endpoint Coverage Gaps and SIEM/XDR Log Health, reviewing Risk-Ranked Reduction recommendations, and viewing MITRE ATT&CK Mitigation Recommendations to address security posture gaps and prevent repeat attacks. The app also delivers continuously updated threat bulletins from Critical Start's Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) team and supports administrative functions such as managing Users & Roles, Products, and Notification Groups with role-based access control.
