The Corsa Security Platform for Scaling Threat Protection is a turnkey virtualization platform designed to elastically scale virtual Next Generation Firewall (NGFW) capacity in response to increasing bandwidth demands. It abstracts traffic inspection away from the underlying infrastructure, removing the need for dedicated, single-purpose hardware upgrades. The platform is built on four integrated components: 1. Corsa Security Orchestrator – a virtual infrastructure manager providing a single dashboard for deploying, scaling, and optimizing firewall VMs 2. Virtual firewalls from Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet 3. Corsa Security Software Load Balancer – distributes traffic across pools of virtual firewalls over 1G/10G or 100G links 4. Commodity compute servers Traffic entering the platform is balanced across virtual firewall instances, enabling horizontal scaling of inspection capacity. The Corsa Security Orchestrator provides an aggregated view of all virtual firewalls, monitoring infrastructure health, resource allocation, VM utilization, and network performance. It integrates with existing firewall policy managers, allowing security teams to continue managing security profiles through their existing workflows. The platform operates on a pay-as-you-grow model, allowing organizations to add or remove inspection capacity on demand without hardware refresh cycles. Deployment is designed to take minutes and requires no network rearchitecting. Alerts and performance metrics notify administrators when capacity changes are needed.
