CONTECHNET ISMS-Modul BSI IT-Grundschutz (INDITOR BSI) is an Information Security Management System (ISMS) software designed to implement the BSI IT-Grundschutz framework for German public institutions and organizations. The software maps BSI standards 200-1, 200-2, and 200-3 through a structured seven-step process. The solution provides asset management capabilities for managing various asset types including processes, personnel, and infrastructure. It supports the creation of asset trees and groups to represent dependencies. The software includes protection needs assessment through a customizable Business Impact Analysis (BIA) with automatic inheritance of protection requirements from processes to applications and infrastructure. The platform features modeling capabilities for building information networks and assigning BSI compendium building blocks based on selected protection levels (basic, core, or standard). Users can conduct IT-Grundschutz checks to perform target/actual comparisons and verify implementation of requirements. Risk management functionality includes risk assessment for evaluating probability and impact of threats, and risk treatment for defining strategies and deriving tasks for identified risks. The software includes a document template system with pre-built templates such as information security policies. It offers comprehensive reporting capabilities including Statement of Applicability (SoA) generation and implementation status overviews. The solution includes standardized maturity models for evaluating implementation status that can be customized.
