Axiom Shield is a threat intelligence plugin designed for MikroTik RouterOS devices. It connects the device to the Axiom Polymorphic Threat Defense platform, which aggregates data from over 100 open and closed threat intelligence sources. The platform delivers approximately 350,000 threat data point updates per day across 150+ update cycles. Upon installation, the plugin deploys a set of firewall rules that match and drop inbound and outbound traffic identified as malicious based on the threat feeds. It leverages MikroTik's native firewall capabilities, including Deep Packet Inspection (DPI), stateful connection tracking, and Layer 7 filtering. Threat intelligence coverage includes: - Ransomware nodes, sites, and IP addresses - Malware nodes, sites, and IP addresses - Command & Control (C2) servers - Known spammers and spam servers - TOR exit nodes (updated every 30 minutes) - Layer 7 regular expression-based blocking Axiom Shield is licensed per device using the device's hardware serial number for authentication. It is compatible with RouterOS version 6.2x and later. Installation is performed via a downloadable RSC script. Three subscription tiers are available: - Axiom Shield ($25/month): Single device license, platform access, installation file, 24x7 support. - Axiom Shield Plus ($40/month): Adds full dynamic firewall rules. - Axiom Shield Advanced ($50/month): Adds access to a reporting portal and automated monthly email reports. A reseller program is available for WISPs, ISPs, and MSPs.
