Xiarch ISNP Audit is a compliance audit service designed to help insurance companies and intermediaries meet the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDA) requirements for Insurance Self-Network Platforms (ISNP). The service addresses IRDA guidelines issued on March 9, 2017, which mandate that entities conducting insurance e-commerce activities must establish digital platforms and undergo annual security reviews. The audit service is performed by CERT-IN empanelled auditors and CISA certified professionals. It evaluates the controls, systems, procedures, and safeguards implemented by ISNPs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The service covers website applications (desktop and mobile versions), mobile applications, or both platform types. The audit process includes planning and scoping, risk assessment and business process analysis, compliance and system review of IT infrastructure and critical system platforms, and reporting of findings with remediation recommendations. The audit ensures compliance with ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management System standards and verifies that internal monitoring controls for data processing systems are properly implemented. Organizations are required to conduct these audits at least once annually and present the results to their Board or sub-committee.
