WiJungle Next Generation Intrusion Prevention Appliance is a network security platform that provides intrusion prevention capabilities using machine learning and signature-based detection. The appliance includes over 98,000 default signatures and signature-less technology with automatic updates. Administrators can create custom IPS signatures and rules with configurable actions to allow, drop, or reject packets. The platform offers SSL decryption, URL reputation analysis, and malware analysis capabilities. It detects botnets, worms, and reconnaissance attacks through anomaly analysis and user behavior monitoring based on heuristics and machine learning. DDoS protection includes threshold settings for port scans, TCP/UDP SYN floods, ICMP sweeps, SCTP floods, and session flooding. The appliance provides application-aware filtering through a port-agnostic engine, content filtering for web, IP, keyword, port, and application categories. Anti-malware service combines antivirus with sandbox capabilities (cloud or on-premise), including anti-bot and virus break protection. File scanning supports over 60 file types with configurable size thresholds and operates in proactive and stream modes. Network management features include WAN and LAN interface management, VLAN support, MAC whitelist/blacklist, IP-MAC binding, NAT, static and dynamic routes, port forwarding, and packet capturing. The system provides high availability through active-active and active-backup modes with stateful failover, load balancing across multiple WAN networks, and link aggregation. The platform includes log storage for approximately one year with searchable capabilities, customizable dashboards, reporting and monitoring across multiple parameters, and activity timeline tracking. Additional features include captive portal capabilities, voucher management, PMS/HIS integration, access point management, and alert management.
