Cameras store up to 365 days of continuous video locally on industrial-grade solid-state storage, while the cloud platform provides centralized management and remote access. Video capabilities include edge-based video processing combined with computer vision in the cloud for people and vehicle analytics. Users can filter individuals by date, time, appearance, clothing color, backpack detection, and facial matches, and filter vehicles by color, body type, and make. The access control component is a cloud-native system that integrates with Verkada cameras to provide real-time visibility into access events. It supports existing card readers and allows doors to be unlocked remotely via mobile device.
