SecureData Remote Management is a subscription-based SaaS platform for centrally managing SecureData encrypted USB drives (DUO and BT series) via a web browser, requiring no software installation. Administrators access a cloud-based console to manage one or multiple encrypted drives, assign users, set user privileges, and enforce IT security policies remotely. The platform supports Multi-Factor Authentication using a combination of user account credentials and a drive PIN/password. Access controls include geo-fencing, which restricts drive usage by geographic parameters (continent, country, state, city, ZIP code, or address with a configurable radius), and time-fencing, which restricts usage to specified hours within any time zone. Administrators can remotely wipe drives, remotely unlock drives, change PINs, and disable access regardless of whether the user holds a drive PIN. A Super Admin mode allows a higher-privileged administrator to manage lower-level admins, supporting organizational hierarchy. The platform logs all login attempts, recording success/failure status and exact GPS coordinates of the user at the time of access. Drives can be assigned aliases for quick searching, and unlimited users and admins are supported. Authentication options for end users include biometrics, remembered passwords, and Apple Watch unlock. DUO drives additionally support keypad entry for air-gapped environments. Full SSO support is provided for accessing the Managed App and Remote Console. A free SecureData Lock mobile app is used to activate and authenticate drives via smartphone or smartwatch.
