Redpalm Proactive IT Monitoring is a managed monitoring service that continuously watches over an organisation's IT infrastructure to detect and remediate issues before they cause disruptions or outages. The service covers a broad range of infrastructure components including physical servers, virtual machines, hypervisor hosts, cloud servers, hardware devices (e.g. network switches), antivirus (AV) software, and backup systems. When an issue is detected, it is automatically logged as a ticket in Redpalm's service desk and assigned to an engineer for investigation. Recurring problems are flagged during monthly meetings for client review and action. Key monitoring capabilities include: - Server monitoring (offline status, missing patches, low disk space) - Antivirus monitoring (installation status, configuration, and definition currency) - Backup verification (automated checks plus manual verification and monthly restore tests) - Hardware monitoring across physical, virtual, and cloud environments The service operates on a 24/7/365 basis and is delivered by Microsoft-certified engineers. Redpalm is a Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certification body, and a partner within the National Cyber Resilience Centre Group. Support is flexible and tailored to the organisation's size, budget, and goals. Dedicated client managers and technical engineers are assigned to each client, with regular in-person or remote meetings. SLAs include on-site engineer dispatch with parts in as little as two hours where required.
