The Napatech F3076X is a 400G Data Processing Unit (DPU) in PCIe Gen5 card form factor. It combines an Intel Altera Agilex AGI041 FPGA with an Intel Xeon 6 32-core SoC on a single PCI card, enabling hardware-level offload and acceleration for network, storage, and security workloads in data center environments. Network Connectivity: The FPGA provides 2×200Gbps or 4×100Gbps Ethernet interfaces and supports configurations of 2×100G, 1×400G, enabling line-rate processing of 400G traffic. Three PCIe Gen 5.0 interfaces are included: one connecting to the host, one providing 400G bandwidth between the FPGA and Xeon 6 SoC, and a third for additional PCIe lanes or expansion to remote devices such as NVMe storage. Compute Express Link (CXL): CXL over the host interface and expansion port enables high-bandwidth, low-latency memory and resource sharing, supporting AI and machine learning use cases. Security Offload: The F3076X handles encryption, authentication, and access controls at the hardware level, enabling real-time threat detection and granular access controls without offloading these tasks to the host CPU. Storage Offload: The DPU manages storage tasks independently from the host CPU, increasing data transfer speeds, improving IOPS, and reducing latency for storage services. Programmability: Both hardware (FPGA bitstreams) and software are programmable via the Napatech Link-Programmable software package, which includes documentation, tools, configurations, and sample code for custom development. The card supports virtualized cloud, cloud-native, and bare-metal server virtualization with tenant isolation, and is designed for public cloud, private cloud, edge, and enterprise data center deployments.
