Mira ETO in the AWS Cloud is a virtual encrypted traffic orchestration solution that provides visibility into encrypted network traffic within AWS environments. The product automatically detects and decrypts SSL, TLS, and SSH traffic, forwarding unencrypted data to security tools for analysis while preserving original packet header details. The solution integrates with AWS Gateway Load Balancer (GWLB) to enable centralized security architecture deployment with automatic scaling capabilities. It supports resilient architecture across multiple AWS availability zones for high availability. The decrypted traffic can be sent to security tools using tunnels, with optional marking to indicate the flow was originally encrypted. Mira vETO runs on c6i, c6in, and c7i EC2 instance types and operates without requiring special interfaces or software changes to existing security tools. The product is available through subscription licensing models including BYOL (Bring Your Own License) for 12 or 36 months, or hourly billing through AWS Marketplace. Licensed capacity determines the amount of encrypted traffic that can be decrypted, with current maximum throttled to 5 Gbps. The solution enables TLS decryption of AWS VPC traffic and provides decrypted data to IDS tools deployed on AWS. CloudFormation templates are available through GitHub to assist with deployment.
