Mead Smart ASSESSMENT is a cybersecurity assessment service that analyzes an organization's security posture from both organizational and infrastructure perspectives. The service identifies technological, management, and process vulnerabilities to help organizations understand short, medium, and long-term risks. The assessment includes three main activity areas that can be performed individually or together: Vulnerability Research - Conducts technical vulnerability assessments including web application analysis, software vulnerability assessment, network verification, antimalware configuration checks, backup hardening verification, Active Directory hardening verification, and lateral movement analysis. Also performs human vulnerability testing through ethical phishing campaigns, password strength checks, and OSINT threat intelligence. AS-IS Analysis - Provides high-level infrastructure and services mapping across IT, OT, IoT, and IoMT environments. Maps business services, processes, responsible parties, and interdependencies while identifying critical services. Governance Analysis - Evaluates business context, regulatory compliance (DPIA, GDPR, IAM), and security control verification against frameworks including AGID, CIS 18, NIST Framework, ISO 27000, and IEC 62443. Reviews incident management plans, business continuity, and security policies covering identity management, authentication, permissions, information security, vulnerability management, asset inventory, and supplier security requirements. Each assessment area produces detailed reports with recommendations to reduce risk. The service can be followed by CISO as a Service (CISOaaS) for ongoing security management.
