GLIMPS Malware for SharePoint OneDrive is a malware detection and quarantine solution designed to protect Microsoft 365 collaborative storage environments — specifically SharePoint and OneDrive — from malicious files. The product connects to Microsoft 365 tenants via the Microsoft Graph API and continuously monitors file uploads and modifications across SharePoint sites and OneDrive accounts in real time, 24/7. When a file is detected, it is submitted to an analysis pipeline comprising over 25 detection engines, including a proprietary deep learning model trained to identify zero-day malware, APTs, and polymorphic variants. Upon threat detection, the file is automatically quarantined in a dedicated, isolated SharePoint site, preventing propagation across synchronized endpoints and cloud backups. Files can be restored with a single click if determined to be false positives. Analysis results are accessible through the GLIMPS Malware Expert console, which provides security teams with IOCs, MITRE ATT&CK TTPs, behavioral analysis, and the ability to generate YARA rules. Real-time alerts can be forwarded to SIEM or SOAR platforms. The solution covers multiple use cases, including: collaborative document sharing on SharePoint, personal file synchronization via OneDrive for Business, external partner file sharing, and email attachments saved to SharePoint or OneDrive. Deployment is performed via an automated PowerShell script and is described as completing in approximately 15 minutes, with no impact on end-user workflows.
