GajShield GS996nu is a next-generation firewall appliance designed for enterprise environments. The device provides data security capabilities with context-based controls for data transactions and data exploitation prevention. It is ICSA Labs certified and supports high availability configurations in both Active-Active and Active-Passive modes. The appliance features 8 ports of 1 Gbps copper Ethernet interfaces with 7 expandable slots for additional port modules including fiber, 10GbE, and 40GbE options. It delivers 72 Gbps firewall throughput, 30 Gbps NGFW throughput, 32 Gbps IPS throughput, and 20 Gbps antivirus throughput. The device supports up to 30 million concurrent sessions and 320,000 new sessions per second. The firewall includes VPN capabilities with 24.1 Gbps throughput and support for up to 25,000 VPN tunnels. It provides 512,000 SSL concurrent sessions. The hardware includes redundant hot-swappable power supplies and fans for reliability. The GS996nu can be managed through GajShield's Centralized Firewall Management System. It includes application filtering, BYOD policy enforcement, network behavior analysis, policy-based ISP load balancing, and bandwidth management capabilities. The appliance provides on-device reporting and data leak prevention functionality.
