GajShield GS995nu is a next-generation firewall appliance designed for enterprise environments. The device provides data security capabilities with context-based controls for data transactions and data leak prevention. It is ICSA Labs certified and supports high availability configurations in both Active-Active and Active-Passive modes. The appliance features 8 ports of 1 Gbps copper Ethernet interfaces with 7 expandable slots for additional port modules including fiber, 10GbE, and 40GbE options. It delivers 72 Gbps firewall throughput, 21 Gbps NGFW throughput, 22.5 Gbps antivirus throughput, and 29.1 Gbps IPS throughput. The device supports up to 30 million concurrent sessions and 320,000 new sessions per second. The GS995nu includes application filtering, BYOD policy enforcement, network behavior analysis, and policy-based ISP load balancing. It provides bandwidth management capabilities and on-appliance reporting for network visibility. The firewall supports up to 9,000 VPN tunnels with 15.1 Gbps VPN throughput. Hardware features include redundant hot-swappable power supplies and fans for reliability. Ports can be configured as WAN, DMZ, or LAN interfaces. The appliance can be managed through GajShield's Centralized Firewall Management System for multi-device deployments.
