GajShield GS990nu is a next-generation firewall appliance designed for enterprise environments. The device provides data-centric security capabilities including data leak prevention, threat surface management, and network behavior analysis. The firewall features 8 ports of 1 Gbps copper and 2 ports of 10Gbps SFP+ with expandable port modules. It supports up to 30 million concurrent sessions and 320,000 new sessions per second. Performance specifications include 68 Gbps firewall throughput, 32 Gbps NGFW throughput, 42 Gbps antivirus throughput, and 35.5 Gbps IPS throughput. VPN capabilities include 24.1 Gbps throughput and support for 9,000 VPN tunnels. The appliance includes 4 hot-swappable 2.5" SATA 3 drives, redundant hot-swappable power supplies and fans, and 7 expandable slots for additional port modules. High availability configurations support both active-active and active-passive modes. The GS990nu is ICSA Labs certified and can be managed through GajShield's Centralized Firewall Management System. Additional capabilities include application filtering, BYOD policy enforcement, ISP load balancing, bandwidth management, and on-appliance reporting.
