GajShield GS890nu is a next-generation firewall appliance designed for enterprise environments. The device provides data security capabilities with context-based controls for data transactions and data exploitation prevention. It is ICSA Labs certified and supports high availability configurations in both Active-Active and Active-Passive modes. The appliance features 8 ports of 1Gbps copper and 2 ports of 10Gbps SFP+ connectivity, with 4 hot-swappable SATA 3 drives. It delivers 68 Gbps firewall throughput, 13 Gbps NGFW throughput, 21 Gbps IPS throughput, and 14.1 Gbps antivirus throughput. The device supports up to 9000 VPN tunnels and can handle 300,000 new sessions per second. The firewall includes application filtering, network behavior analysis, bandwidth management, and load balancing capabilities. It provides on-appliance reporting and data leak prevention functionality. The device features redundant hot-swappable power supplies and fans, with 7 expandable slots for additional port modules including Ethernet, Fiber, 10GbE SFP+, and 40GbE QSFP+ options. The GS890nu can be managed through GajShield's Centralized Firewall Management System and supports BYOD policies. Ports are configurable as WAN, DMZ, or LAN interfaces.
