GajShield GS85nu V2 is a data security firewall appliance that provides network security with integrated data loss prevention capabilities. The device is ICSA Labs certified and designed for enterprise deployments. The firewall offers context-based data security controls to monitor and prevent data exploitation. It includes network behavior analysis and threat surface management capabilities to provide visibility into data transactions across the network. The appliance features 8 ports of 1Gbps copper and 2 ports of 10Gbps SFP+ interfaces. It supports up to 8 million concurrent sessions with 90,000 new sessions per second. Performance specifications include 8.5 Gbps firewall throughput, 1.5 Gbps NGFW throughput, 2.75 Gbps IPS throughput, and 1.85 Gbps antivirus throughput. The device supports 2,660 VPN tunnels with 1.4 Gbps VPN throughput. High availability configurations are available in both active-active and active-passive modes. Ports can be configured as WAN, DMZ, or LAN interfaces. Additional capabilities include application filtering, BYOD policy enforcement, bandwidth management, load balancing, and policy-based ISP routing. The appliance includes on-device reporting functionality and can be managed through GajShield's centralized firewall management system.
