GajShield GS245nu is a next-generation firewall appliance that provides data-centric security capabilities. The device is ICSA Labs certified and designed for enterprise deployments. The firewall implements a context-based data security approach that focuses on understanding and controlling data transactions to prevent data exploitation. It includes data leak prevention capabilities and provides visibility into data flows across the network. The appliance features 6 ports of 1Gbps copper Ethernet interfaces with one expandable slot for additional port modules. It supports up to 18 million concurrent sessions and 200,000 new sessions per second. Performance specifications include 34 Gbps firewall throughput, 6.8 Gbps NGFW throughput, 6.5 Gbps antivirus throughput, and 9 Gbps IPS throughput. The GS245nu supports high availability configurations in both active-active and active-passive modes. It can be managed through GajShield's Centralized Firewall Management System for multi-device deployments. Additional capabilities include application filtering, BYOD policy enforcement, network behavior analysis, policy-based ISP load balancing, bandwidth management, and on-appliance reporting. The device supports up to 6,500 VPN tunnels with 3.6 Gbps VPN throughput.
