GajShield GS1490nu is a next-generation firewall appliance designed for enterprise environments. The device provides data security capabilities with context-based controls for data transactions and data exploitation prevention. It is ICSA Labs certified and supports high availability configurations in both Active-Active and Active-Passive modes. The appliance features dual multicore physical processor architecture and includes 8 ports of 1Gbps copper and 4 ports of 10Gbps SFP+ interfaces. It supports up to 96 million concurrent sessions and 625,000 new sessions per second, with firewall throughput of 155 Gbps and NGFW throughput of 75 Gbps. The GS1490nu includes network security functions such as intrusion prevention system (IPS), antivirus scanning, VPN capabilities supporting up to 100,000 tunnels, and application filtering. It provides bandwidth management, load balancing across ISPs, and network behavior analysis. The device includes BYOD policy enforcement and data leak prevention capabilities. The appliance offers on-device reporting and centralized management through GajShield's Centralized Firewall Management System. It features redundant hot-swappable power supplies and fans for high availability. The device includes 4 expandable slots for additional port modules supporting various interface types including Ethernet, fiber, 10GbE SFP+, and 40GbE QSFP+ options.
