GajShield GS1396nu is a next-generation firewall appliance that provides data-centric security capabilities for enterprise networks. The device is ICSA Labs certified and features 8 ports of 1 Gbps copper Ethernet interfaces with 7 expandable slots for additional port modules including fiber, 10GbE, and 40GbE options. The firewall supports up to 60 million concurrent sessions with 520,000 new sessions per second. Performance specifications include 100 Gbps firewall throughput, 40 Gbps NGFW throughput, 32 Gbps antivirus throughput, 62 Gbps IPS throughput, and 36.5 Gbps VPN throughput. The appliance can handle up to 75,000 VPN tunnels. The GS1396nu implements a context-based data security approach that provides visibility into data transactions and prevents data exploitation. It includes data leak prevention capabilities, network behavior analysis, and threat surface management. The device features dual multicore physical processor architecture and includes redundant power supply for reliability. High availability configurations are supported through both Active-Active and Active-Passive modes. The firewall can be managed through GajShield's Centralized Firewall Management System. Additional capabilities include application filtering, BYOD policy enforcement, policy-based ISP load balancing, bandwidth management, and on-appliance reporting. All WAN, DMZ, and LAN ports are configurable.
