EdgeWave iPrism Web Filter is an appliance-based Internet filtering solution that secures organizations from Internet-based threats at the perimeter. The solution provides policy-driven web filtering to enforce acceptable use and security policies. The product protects against malware, spyware, instant messaging threats, peer-to-peer file sharing, and inappropriate content. It combines software flexibility and scalability with appliance-based security and control. The iPrism Web Filter is delivered through h-Series appliances in a compact 1U form factor. Multiple appliance models are available to accommodate different organizational sizes and bandwidth requirements, with throughput speeds ranging from 10 to 100 Mbps depending on the model selected. Available models include the 25h for small and medium-sized businesses, the 55h and 105h Advanced Web Gateway models that include social media threat management and mobile device protection, and the 500h and 1000g models designed for high-bandwidth environments. The solution is compatible with all supported versions of the iPrism Web Filter operating software.
