The system operates through two primary reader types: - **Elevator Lobby Call Access Reader:** A credentialed reader placed in the elevator lobby that controls call buttons and can summon one or more elevator cars based on user credentials. - **Elevator In-Cab Floor Selection Access Reader:** A reader installed inside each elevator car that is linked to floor-selection buttons, enabling per-floor access permissions to be configured for employees or visitors. Lobby officers using the GuardWatch® application can grant elevator and floor access to visitors, tenants who have forgotten their credentials, or guests attending special events. The system also supports cost-effective access control responses via access phones.
