The Cyber Incident Readiness Review (CIRR) is a consulting service offered by CYSIAM that evaluates an organisation's preparedness to detect, respond to, and recover from cyber security incidents. The review covers three primary areas: incident response capability, threat and event management, and business continuity. It begins with an assessment of existing policies and procedures, including the incident response plan, communication strategies, and defined roles and responsibilities during an incident. The service then tests organisational readiness through simulations and drills to uncover gaps in the incident response process. Communication channels are evaluated both internally and with external stakeholders such as regulators and law enforcement agencies. Findings are aligned with key standards including NCSC guidance and GDPR requirements. Results are presented in non-technical language, enabling Technical teams to communicate cyber risk to C-Suite stakeholders. The service provides actionable and proportionate remediation recommendations tailored to the specific threat landscape of the organisation.
