Cyberoam CR100iNG is a Unified Threat Management (UTM) appliance designed for small and medium enterprises with 60-400 users. The device is no longer available and has been replaced by Sophos products. The appliance provides network security through a stateful inspection firewall with Layer 8 identity-based policies that attach user identity to security controls. It includes intrusion prevention system capabilities, gateway anti-virus and anti-spyware scanning across multiple protocols including HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, POP3, IMAP, and VPN tunnels. The device offers VPN connectivity through IPSec, SSL VPN, L2TP, and PPTP protocols. It supports up to 250 IPSec tunnels with 450 Mbps throughput and 400 Mbps SSL VPN throughput. Web filtering and application visibility and control features enable content filtering and bandwidth management. The CR100iNG includes anti-spam protection for inbound and outbound email, web application firewall functionality, and instant messaging archiving and controls. It supports multiple link management for business continuity and 3G/4G/WiMAX connectivity options. The hardware includes 8 copper Gigabit Ethernet ports, 2 USB ports, 1 console port, and 2 hardware bypass segments. Performance specifications include 4,500 Mbps UDP firewall throughput, 3,500 Mbps TCP throughput, 1,250,000 concurrent sessions, and 750 Mbps UTM throughput. The device supports IPv6 and includes wireless security capabilities for IEEE 802.11 n/b/g standards.
