Operating as an L2 transparent, inline network device, the NSE7000 classifies and redirects traffic into horizontally scaled, load-balanced security service chains using user-defined, programmable rules. Because it is L2 transparent, it can be inserted into existing networks without modifying network configurations or introducing new attack surfaces.
