VanDyke SecureFX is a file transfer client for Windows, macOS, and Linux that provides secure file transfer capabilities using multiple protocols. The application supports SSH2 SFTP, FTPS (FTP/TLS), HTTPS (WebDAV and Amazon S3), SCP, FTP, and HTTP protocols for transferring files across networks and the internet. The client includes site synchronization functionality that handles upload, download, and mirroring transfers between local and remote systems or between two remote systems (server-to-server). File selection can be filtered using wildcards, and synchronization configurations can be stored in a database for reuse. SecureFX provides automatic recovery for interrupted transfers, with the ability to resume multi-file transfers automatically. The relentless file transfer feature reconnects and resumes transfers after broken connections. Transfers can also be manually paused and resumed from the transfer queue. Authentication methods include password, public key (RSA, Ed25519, ECDSA, DSA, PuTTY PPK, OpenSSH certificates), Kerberos v5 via GSSAPI, keyboard interactive, and X.509 smart cards (PIV/CAC). The application includes a credentials manager for storing and managing authentication credentials across sessions. The interface supports drag-and-drop file transfers, tabbed sessions, filter views, bookmarks, and an address bar. Integration with SecureCRT allows shared sessions and server host keys. A command-line client (SFXCL) is available for Windows and Linux to enable unattended file transfers, and Windows includes a built-in task scheduler for scheduling transfer operations.
