SecureCRT is a terminal emulation client for Windows, macOS, and Linux that provides secure remote access to network devices and servers. The software supports multiple protocols including SSH (SSH1, SSH2), Telnet, Telnet/TLS, serial, and RDP (Windows only). The client offers terminal emulation for VT100/102/220, TN3270, ANSI, SCO ANSI, Wyse 50/60, Xterm, and Linux console. The software integrates with SecureFX file transfer client, sharing sessions and settings for SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, SCP, FTP, and HTTP transfers. Security features include SSH protocol support with FIPS 140-2 approved ciphers, X.509 smart card authentication (PIV/CAC) for two-factor authentication, and data tunneling. The credentials management system allows sessions to reference global credential sets, simplifying password updates across multiple sessions. Additional features include keyword highlighting with regular expression support, customizable button bars, cloned sessions, and snapshots for saving workspace configurations.
