Cloud Security Project Accelerators (SPA) are packaged consulting engagements offered by Securosis in partnership with the Cloud Security Alliance. They are designed to help organizations improve the security of their cloud deployments through a structured four-component program. Each engagement consists of: - A pre-workshop assessment call to understand the organization's environment and objectives - A custom one-day on-site workshop with an analyst covering architecture, controls, and practical recommendations - Post-workshop findings documentation including an action plan and supporting research - Two follow-up accountability calls (typically at 2 and 6 weeks post-workshop) to monitor progress Three distinct workshop types are available: 1. Security Fundamentals for Cloud Providers – for organizations building their foundational cloud security program, aligned with Cloud Security Alliance best practices 2. Cloud Project Assessment for Cloud Providers – focused on securing a specific new or existing cloud project with architectural and security controls recommendations 3. Cloud Security Program Assessment – for organizations looking to build a sustainable, ongoing cloud security program, including tooling evaluation, gap analysis, and security automation Workshops are provider-specific and currently available for Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. Content is customized to each organization's existing tools, processes, and constraints rather than delivered as generic training. Additional advisory services are also available, including product selection assistance, technology and architecture strategy, risk assessments, and security management evaluations.
