Security Alliance Cyber Threat Assessment is a consulting service that provides cyber threat intelligence assessments to organizations. The service consists of two main components: Targetable Intelligence and Threat Intelligence. The Targetable Intelligence component involves collaborative workshops to identify potential targets within an organization's infrastructure, including sensitive data locations, mission-critical applications, and key staff members. Intelligence is collected on target assets, infrastructure, and digital footprint to map the Attack Surface. The Threat Intelligence component performs intelligence collection and threat analysis on the Attack Landscape, identifying people and groups with the motive and means to carry out attacks. The service combines Attack Surface and Attack Landscape data to create attack scenarios based on critical assets, infrastructure, and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used by likely threat actors. Deliverables include a Threat Intelligence Report containing strategic security assessments and tactical attack scenarios with detailed threat actor profiling, and a Targeting Annex Report documenting exploitable information and security intelligence recovered from the digital footprint. The service supports intelligence-led red teaming frameworks including CBEST, TIBER, and STAR schemes.
