SecureSky's Microsoft Defender Deployment and Management Service is a managed security service focused on the deployment, configuration, and ongoing management of Microsoft's security product suite, including Microsoft XDR, Microsoft Defender for Business, Azure Active Directory, and Microsoft Sentinel. The service begins with an assessment of the client's business needs, risk profile, license levels, existing toolset, and budget to inform a tailored Microsoft security deployment strategy. SecureSky evaluates the functionality and cost of Microsoft Security against the client's current security and IAM stack, with consideration for frameworks such as the Zero Trust security model. Deployment is structured using controlled testing groups and phased rollout plans. Configuration is performed against leading benchmarks and compliance standards. Ongoing secure configuration validation is provided via SecureSky's security posture management platform, covering Microsoft CSPM and Microsoft SSPM. The service covers on-premises, Office 365, and Azure environments, including: Intune MDM/MAM, Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud Apps (CASB), Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, Conditional Access Policies, Privileged Identity Management, Azure Policies, and Defender for IoT/Servers/Storage/Kubernetes/Containers. Microsoft Sentinel is used to collect and correlate threat detection signals across the environment, serving as a primary incident queue with bi-directional synchronization across portals. SecureSky also provides ongoing Managed XDR (MXDR) and Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services, including structured and situational threat hunting, as well as exposure hunting to identify and mitigate risk proactively.
