PlaxidityX Code Security Manager is an automotive-focused application security tool that integrates Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) into the software development lifecycle (SDLC). It is designed for OEMs and Tier-1 automotive suppliers developing safety-critical vehicle software. The tool supports a shift-left security approach by enabling security testing early in the development process, reducing the cost and time associated with discovering vulnerabilities late in production. It automatically generates a Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) from source code, mapping all dependencies and components without manual intervention. Code Security Manager integrates with an organization's existing developer workflows, including source code repositories, CI/CD automation pipelines, and ticketing platforms. Security flaws detected include CVEs, code security standard violations, and DAST findings, which are surfaced and prioritized directly within the SDLC for remediation. The product is designed to support compliance with automotive cybersecurity regulations and standards, specifically UN R155 (UNECE automotive cybersecurity regulations) and ISO/SAE 21434. It can also be integrated with PlaxidityX's broader DevSecOps platform.
