MachPanel Tool for Active Directory Synchronization is a one-way synchronization solution that consolidates Active Directory environments. The tool synchronizes user accounts and groups from on-premise Active Directory to cloud-hosted Active Directory or between hosted Active Directory instances. The solution uses LDAP protocol to manage and access directory information services. It can be deployed on primary and additional domain controllers with different installation modes. The tool includes artificial intelligence capabilities to automatically map users between hosted and on-premises environments based on known attributes such as user principal name and display name. The synchronization process captures password changes and user information updates, transmitting them to the MachPanel Control Server at customer-defined intervals. Communication between the ADSync utility and MachPanel Control Panel occurs through SSL-protected API endpoints when the control panel is SSL-enabled. The tool supports multi-tenancy and organizational unit synchronization. Administrators can configure synchronization templates to select specific attributes for synchronization per organization. The solution enables same-sign-on capabilities across multiple platforms by keeping user accounts synchronized. Requirements include MachPanel v4.5.17 or above, Microsoft Windows Server 2003 or above, and Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime 2010. The tool operates over HTTP/HTTPS ports 80 or 443.
